Katherine Dunn: Course Building Fundamentals

KatherineDunn_150x150Katherine Dunn is a Master Facilitator and Instructional Designer. She has a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design and Teaching with Technology and an MBA. For the last 10 years, Ms. Dunn has been creating engaging learning experiences for learners nationally and internationally. She has taught and designed webinars, elearning, and instructor-led training courses for companies such as The Internal Revenue Service, ADP, Verizon Wireless, Ocean Spray, The Grady Health System, and many others. Ms. Dunn started her career as a journalist and editor in Atlanta. As a published writer, Ms. Dunn has interviewed business leaders, entertainers like Richard Branson, Barry Gordy, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Debbie Morgan, Spike Lee, and many others. Katherine is one half of the duo, The KAT and SAM show on Periscope.

  • The pros and cons of each learning engagement
  • Which learning engagement type is best for you content

In this session, attendees will learn the fundamentals of course building with a review of content, graphics, and adult learning theory basics.
