For eight years prior to her role at PayPal, she owned Ascend Marketing Consulting Group that launched new products at major tech companies including Apple, Intuit, Adobe, and Cisco. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a liberal arts degree from Arizona State University.  April lives in San Jose, CA with her husband, two teenage daughters (who have mastered the art of debating with mom), and a feisty Boston Terrier named Oreo.
